National Account Manager

National Account Manager

We are looking for a qualified salesperson who has an already established account list with 3 years experience of calling on them. You must have a proven track record.

Company Overview:
Metrowine is a leading Importer and Distributor of Bordeaux wines and is developing and launching a new international brand in the USA. The focus of this brand is to off-premise chain accounts

4. Time/information management – respect time requirements and respond with accurate information

Objective:
This position is responsible for calling on off-premise chain customers across the country. This is a sales position with very strong emphasis on customer service and brand development.

Specific Responsibilities:
• Develop presentations for your targeted customers.

• Understand company revenue per customer and develop the business to meet and exceed these targets.
• Collaborate with the executive leadership on concepts, promotions and POS materials, advertising and other marketing initiatives as needed by account.
• Communicate the results of your week and summarize the issues to be discussed with the executive leadership. Plan your upcoming weeks with scheduled appointments and submit a formal plan.
• Budget your T&E per company policies

Educational Qualifications & Experiences:
• Bachelors of Business Administration in finance, marketing or related field or 5 years experience in the Wine industry.
• A strong palette and understanding of the wine category.
• A working knowledge of the wine industry and the three tier system.
• Strong organizational, communication and inter-personal skills.
 • Strong communication ethic in getting back to customers, suppliers and internal company personnel.
• Support the company’s executive leadership with needed information regarding the state of the business.
• A sense of positive urgency in executing everyday responsibilities.
